Wayne Gretzky is arguably the greatest hockey player of all time. Debuting in the NHL for the Edmonton Oilers at age 19, he eventually set NHL records for most career points (2,857), most career Hart Trophies (9), most career assists (1,963), and most career goals (894) while being selected for 18 All-Star Games. He’s certainly earned his nickname “The Great One,” which he was given at just 10-years-old dominating the youth hockey circuit.
“The blue borders make it extremely tough on edges and corners. Chipping is common for 1979-80 Topps Hockey cards, which helps explain why copies in top condition are so tough to come by.”
